There are always ways to handicap yourself if you want a fresh experience in a game with any sort of character building. In my own playthrough, I've so far been neglecting talent points that effect combat, only taking ones that unlock more spell-sets or enhance Revelio.įrom what I understand, you can't refund talents once you spend them, so I wanted to avoid unlocking too many and having all my spells be *too* powerful. I have a suggestion for making the game more challenging, if you find yourself breezing through encounters too quickly. Some minigames are just straight up impossible on hard I regularly switch myself between Hard and Story mode. If you like a challenge, that most definetly is one - although if in a positive way or negative way is the question You don't get any such protection on hard, they'll all shoot you in the back, which can also be a bit annoying. On Normal you always got one or twonpaid actors that will wait until the rest of the group attacked you and then attack you. They attack a little more frequently and - that is the more serious issue - they don't take you on alone.

I usually survive three or four spells casted on me (assuming they hit), your parry window is souls-like, and the enemies are transformed into bullet sponges (which allows you too pull some sick combos though). Fair experience, but no challenge at all for a soul player.

Also they die pretty quickly, so you'll lose most of your fucking great looking combos. Story and Easy are you're regular paid actors, nice that they exist, they won't cast on you too harshly and you'll be pretty fine if they hit you (which technically is impossible on Story mode, as you essentially have to choose to let them hit you, there is a slowdown that goes for 5-6 seconds where the game gives you the chance to block or dodge).
